I is for Ice-skating
Ice-skating: Ice-skating in Jakarta was really fun. First I thought I was too scared to go on the ice but when I was doing it for a few minute I got the idea but my bottom was really wet because I fall down a lot. It was really simple to do ice-skating, so ice-skate is to be like a penguin. If you get the idea you could do some trick if you practice doing it. The ice-skating that we did at the shopping mall call Taman Anggrek is so awesome. But you need to were a warm clothes because the place where you ice-skate is pretty cold place because you do ice-skating on ice. Ice-skating is a good sport to do for cold place and also every sports in the world. Most of our class liked ice-skating. But be careful when you do ice-skating be careful with your shirt what you wearing. If you where a short shirt and pants to warm yourself when you fall down you might get cut so where long shirt and pants if you doing ice-skating. One of our students got a cut on his leg becouse he was wearing a short shirt. It's a boy named Jaden Brady who is 9 years old.

Ice-skating is hard at first but after a while you get use to it. When you haven't ice-skated before you keep on falling and it hurts your bottom. When the ice is cold and you don't have mittens on and you fall down and touch the ice your hand is like frazen. When you now how to ice-skate you coan do tricks. Be careful that you don't get cat by the blade. If the place is cold wear lots of clothes under other clothes. When you go in the finals you have to wear a pretty ice-skating costume.

Hi, I am from a cold place that has lots of ice right now. It is in Minnesota, USA which is up near Canada. I didn't know that you had ice rinks in Indonesia. Thanks for telling me about it.

In Minnesota we have indoor ice rinks and right now all the lakes are frozen so you can skate on them. People even drive on the lakes with their trucks. They drive out to their ice houses where they go ice fishing. I know this sounds like a made-up story but it is true. Some people even have fancy ice houses with heaters and comfortable furnitures. -- Susan from St. Paul, Minnesota
